● ►en sg. m. ►PROT Transaction TCP. Version du protocole classique TCP, mais adapté à la gestion des transactions (on y a ajouté des morceaux d'UDP dedans). D'abord implémenté sous SunOS en 1994, puis FreeBSD en 1995, il existe désormais un peu partout dans le monde Unix.
